What we hold, and why.

Junctra measures how AI describes your firm. This is what that requires us to keep, who helps us do it, and how to take it away.

Who we are

Junctra is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.

What we collect

  • Your account: your name, email address, a hash of your password (never the password itself), whether your email is verified, and your plan.
  • Your brands: what you enter about each firm (name, website, description, industry, competitors) and the buyer questions you track.
  • What we measure for you: the answers AI systems give to those questions, the sources they cite, our analysis of them, the fixes we draft, alerts, and the history of your results.
  • Readiness checks: the address of each site you check and what we found. To limit abuse of the free check we keep a one-way hash of the network address it came from, not the address itself.
  • Technical records: server logs of requests (including the network address and browser they came from) and, when switched on, reports of errors.

Why we use it

To provide the service you signed up for: to run your tests, show your results, draft fixes and send the emails you asked for (sign-in, verification, alerts and the weekly digest). This is the contract between us.

To keep the service secure and working: logs, error reports and limits on the free tool. This is our legitimate interest in running a safe service.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Who processes it for us

To do its work, Junctra sends some of your data to these providers, each under its own terms:

  • AI systems (Anthropic, OpenAI, Perplexity and Google, whichever are switched on): your buyer questions, which name your firm and its competitors; to judge answers and draft fixes, your firm's description and the answers being judged.
  • Hosting and database (Railway): everything above is stored there.
  • Email (Mailjet): your email address and the messages we send you.
  • Error reports (Sentry, when switched on): technical details of an error, without request bodies or your account details.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, it is under the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the service needs: one that keeps you signed in, and one that remembers which of your brands you were looking at. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing to consent to beyond using the service.

How long we keep it

Your account and everything in it are kept until you delete the account. Deleting it removes your brands, tests, answers, fixes, alerts, readiness checks and plan at once.

Server logs and error reports are kept for a short time for security and then discarded. Copies in our hosting provider's backups expire on that provider's schedule.

Your rights

You can see, correct, take away and delete your data:

  • Take it away: Settings → Your data → Download my data gives you everything as one file.
  • Delete it: Settings → Your data → Delete my account removes it at once, and we email you to confirm.
  • Correct it: edit your profile and brands in the dashboard at any time.

For anything else, including objecting to how we use your data, write to [email protected]. We reply within one month. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes
